MarketSpace was born as a branding agency. Although we’ve evolved into a full-service marketing agency, branding is still one of our key core competencies. We can help a client build a new brand from the ground up, or we can help a client who wants to give their brand a facelift. And once we do either of the above, we can help that client take their brand to market.
We recently used our extensive branding expertise to help Ansaldo, one our longstanding clients, carry out their new brand image.
Ansaldo STS is a leading technology company that provides traffic management, planning, train control and signaling systems and services in the global Railway & Mass Transit Transportation Systems business. They act as lead contractor and turnkey provider on major projects worldwide.
In the past year, Ansaldo underwent a rebranding initiative during which they updated their image and voice. Because they have a number of divisions around the world, they wanted the look and feel of each company’s website to uphold this new brand image. Using the look and feel of their corporate website, MarketSpace previously redesigned sites for their PTC Solutions and Ansaldo Honolulu divisions. This past month, we did the same for their AnsaldoBreda division.
The updated websites now have a strong brand presence, enhanced functionality, and ease of navigation. And because they were built in Joomla®, an open source content management system, the content can be easily updated and maintained by Ansaldo. Check out the latest redesign we just completed at AnsaldoBredaInc.com.
Why is everyone saying “I love U?”
In the past year and a half, MarketSpace has been working with Kaneka Nutrients, a premier manufacturer of ingredients for health and wellness supplements.

Kaneka recently released a new ingredient called Ubiquinol, which is the reduced, active antioxidant form of CoQ10 that is more readily absorbed by the body.
As part of the marketing plan for this new supplement, MarketSpace helped Kaneka launch a Facebook page for Ubiquinol where they could share relevant information and link people to Ubiquinol.org.
To boost the number of fans on this page, MarketSpace came up with a clever “I love U” campaign that allows consumers to get a free sample of Ubiquinol just for “liking” the page. We designed a custom tab on their Facebook page that allows fans to enter and submit their information without ever having to leave the application.
Although this promotion just launched this week, we’re anticipating an overwhelming response. We will be pushing this promotion at Ubiquinol.org and in magazine advertisements in several trade publications. We’re only giving away free samples to the first 1,000 fans of the page, so make sure to “like” Ubiquinol now at www.Facebook.com/Ubiquinol.
Pretty soon, you’ll find out why everyone is saying “I love U.”
It’s a Fiesta® on Facebook!
MarketSpace is excited about the work we recently finished for Homer Laughlin, the manufacturers of Fiesta Dinnerware.
Everyone who collects Fiesta Dinnerware has a story to tell…from when they started collecting, to why they started collecting, to what their favorite piece is. In March 2010, Homer Laughlin China Company launched a campaign asking these collectors to share their stories. The response they got was overwhelming, and the answers were just as colorful and eclectic as their line of dishes.
With so many wonderful stories pouring in, Homer Laughlin wanted a way to share these stories so that collectors could learn about each other, and comment and enjoy each other’s tales. So MarketSpace designed a custom tab on their existing Facebook page. Homer Laughlin is able to add new stories each week, and has collected quite a fanbase of collectors.
Check out the stories for yourself on Homer Laughlin’s Facebook page. You just might be inspired to start your own Fiesta collection!
