An Appetite for Higher Sales—McCain Foods, USA
Appetizers, snacks, and other “quick bites” have become staples of our busy lives, whether tiding us over until our next meal or as part of the meal itself.
McCain Foods USA makes a variety of snacks, munchies, sides, and quick-prep foods that are sold to the food service industry as well as directly to consumers under the McCain brand as well as various sub-brands. MarketSpace has been involved in producing a wide variety of point-of-service displays—table tents, counter cards, menus, banners—that promote McCain products to various specialty audiences.
For example, we created materials aimed at restaurants and snack shops serving the college crowd—notorious late-night munchers. We developed themed menus around holidays, sports events, and specific times of day, like mid-day snacks and early-riser breakfast choices. Other campaigns focused on promoting particular products. Some materials are branded with the specific restaurant offering them; others are McCain-branded to capitalize on the name recognition and reputation of this well-known wholesale brand.
The result: Aside from making us hungry on a regular basis, the broad range of promotions and large number of product choices keeps McCain’s at the top of the food service industry.
